Afternoon
Opening night
Eleven plays in competition from nine countries, an opening night with its own show, a bus tour of the city and the closing night. Pick a day and plan your festival, every show is a new country stepping onto the stage.
How it works
Every afternoon and evening, student troupes compete in front of the jury and the public, from the opening night on Monday to the closing on Friday.
Shows start on time and doors close once the curtain rises, arrive fifteen minutes early to get a seat. Each day lists its plays with their venue, alongside the ceremonies and the bus tour.
All times are local (Tangier). The programme may change slightly, the version on this page is always the latest one.

Beyond the stage
The festival spills out of the theatre, into classrooms, streets and conversations.
Hands-on sessions on voice, movement and staging, open to every participant and to Tangier’s students.
Members of the jury and guest artists share their craft in intimate, on-registration sessions.
On day 3 every delegation takes to the streets in costume, from Boulevard Pasteur to the Grand Socco.
